Wonderful

Great application. Helping to have eveything in one pocket everywhere….

Great app!

Especially for R&D

New release, new bugs

New release, new bugs. While it still has no fonts selector to choose from the fonts, installed in OS, and no search by tags in the search field, they introduced something new. Can’t login to twitter inside the app and so can’t read the articles added from twitter. For instance, I mean Tweetbot for iOS and others. Weren’t fixed several bugs, including the local ones — the bug with truncation of some titles, for example. The bug with inner links in the article view still exists. Sevaral items are present with broken titles. They are readable and available for re-download. Though, if I remove such item, I can’t re-add it via undo tape. Seems like it is stored with both correct and illegal URLs simultaneously. I think it’s an issue with encoded and not encoded URLs in local character sets. Some of the tags don’t allow searching and appear empty though I do remember that I’d tagged several articles with them. They added other layout for tags autocomplete. It’s quite comfortable, though the old one was good too. One of the local bugs was fixed. It stays one-of-a-kind app and is great because of its integration and functionality.

YouTube

My favorite thing - native youtube. IT’S GREAT! Thanks!

Premium search

If you subscribe to Pocket Premium, you are forced to use the full-text search feature that doesn’t work well enough. It’s unpredictable, very slow, yields irrelevant results and you lose the ability to search in titles and URLs, unless you unplug your internet connection to disable full-text searching. Since pocketed articles are downloaded to my computer anyway, I’d rather rely on OS X Spotlight indexer to index their contents. It would work offline and at no extra cost. Also, you can’t view the list of starred articles when offline. You can still fish favorites out from a list of all items, but that’s really frustrating. Article view mode is hit-and-miss, doesn’t always recognize article text, but it’s convenient when it works. These issues aside, the app generally works well and is rather useful.

Great App

Thank a lot for such a great app! There a sometimes bugs that app will not apear then it starts, but it is ok. Please solve it, guys ;)

yo!

Hi, Guys! Your app is just great, but i know one thing you’ve missed. You know, we all have a lot to share with our friends, but, sometimes you need to get response from them - did they like your stuff? Or not? Sometimes i need to response to my friends immediately, but i have to go to another app and text them back about stuff they shared with me. Soooooooooooooooo, how about to add comments section, response ability or something like that to your beautiful app? I know, i turned on e-mail notification settings, but it will not resolve this issue clear and smooth. Hope you’ll hear me!

My five stars

Excellent app. Keep doing best, guys

Crash when sharing to Facebook

Crash when sharing to Facebook every time.

A must

Best app of the kind. Use it every day. Nice work!

no login with Google+ or Facebook

I used to login to Pocket from all my devices by using Google+ account. Please add this functionality for this version of Pocket. Otherwise Pocket is a great idea with very good implementation. Thanks!

한글 입력에 문제가 있어 별 하나 뺀다.

매우 만족하며 쓰고 있다. 단, 태그 입력시에 한글을 입력하면 2글자씩 입력되는 문제가 있다. BUG : When I input tag in Korean, inputted twice each character. So, 4 star. Not 5.

Joyful

Very helpful program

Addicted

I have grown addicted to a few productivity apps. Pocket is one of them. To be able to find content from the web or other sources and send it to Pocket for later viewing is wonderful. But what I really love is that it formats the content for easy readability. It declutters content that is littered with ads and makes for a much better experience. I also love being able to read the content without an internet connection. I am often on airplanes without a wifi connection, and Pocket lets me read my saved content without being online.

Better than bookmarks

Great app for keeping track of your favorite websites and online articles. Sometimes video wont play in the pocket app itself though

One of Best Ever!

This app is same what I was looking for. Saving and reading later is my personality so it helps me do that. Thank you guys a lot.

Excellent app

I rely on Pocket, especially because there are more and more sites that gives you the option of saving an article. I use it on all my devices using iOS and OSX. It’s easy to use and you can go back months or years to look up something you saved.

Nice enough app, wish they’d fix a major bug

I like the app a lot, but version 1.6.2 released on Dec 6 2014 has a bug that I really wish they’d fix. As with another reviewer, on launch all I get is a spinner. My saved offline articles aren’t available. There is a workaround. Here’s what I got from Justin in their support group. Unfortunately, the steps have to be repeated every time the app is launched: Our developers are aware of this issue and are working on a solution. In the meantime, you can restore your downloaded items for offline use by following these quick steps: 1. In the menu bar, choose “View > Show Sidebar” 2. In the sidebar, click “Pocket” followed by “Archive” 3. Click the word “Archive” and select “Home” This will restore your list of downloaded items.

Useful addition to my workflow

I use Pocket gather content prior to pushing it over to Evernote.

Simple and Perfect

Some apps are so simple you think to youself, ‘Why didn’t I think of that’, or similarly, ‘Why do you need an app for that. It’s too simple?’. To me, Pocket falls in that category. I constantly navigate the web and quite often there is a larger article/page that I want to come back too. Of course Safari has it’s Reading List feature which ‘sort of’ does similiar things, but where Pocket excels in it’s ease of use and organization. Futher, with bookmarks and all the other functionaliy a browser has to offer, it’s nice to have something removed and separate if for nothing else simply organization. The UI is very well done and the workflow clean and intutive. The shortcut feature to add a page is quite handy and allows for quick navigation. I can only imagine that over time they will add more features, as many rewviewers have noticed are currently lacking. Again, great app. Can’t wait to see what’s coming in future releases.
