This app is great, but ...

I would need funcion of save web per individual page. Currently, There has been setting option for that. But i need save button for each page.

I LOVE this service!

I’ve been used Pocket on my iPhone, iPad and Mac, everything synchronised. I can save my articles to read any time I can or I want. It’s awesome use an APP for Mac instead a web browser, it’s more friendly.

Easy to Use, Beautiful Interface (Wish it had folders though)

Title says it all. I’ve been using this app for a couple of years now and absolutely love it. I’ve collected tons of content based on a lot of topics. I just wish that I could sort them by folder. I’m not big on keywords, but despite that, I still HIGHLY recommend this app and give it 5 stars!

Best offline reading app

I discovered Pocket about a year and a half ago when looking for an application for my Kindle Fire. I spend a lot of time on planes and in areas where Wifi is not available and was looking for an application that would allow me to save articles to read later. Pocket has fit the bill. It works on all of my devices (MacBook, iPad, Kindle Fire HDX, and iPhone), syncs beautifully, and allows me to read offline. I love tagging things for quick searches, too. All in all, this application has done everything that I have asked for and — thankfully — has kept everything very simple. I hope it never changes.

I am happy with it!

I use this every single day. With iPhone version it’s really irreplaceable app!

AWSM!

Saved my reading

I tried it before.

I tried it before, but for some reason I stopped using it. Now I now why, I’m not smart enough to figure it out. I’m not sure what it does. The “how do” says go the Pocket symbol in your browser. It was not there after installing the app. What did I do wrong? I tried to “sign in” with Facebook but it would not let me do that. Maybe, I’ll try again in another couple of years I might be smarter then.

Convenient! Powerful!

This app is so greate and very convenient for me to read all books and some economic articles on my iPad, iPhone. It is handy yet powerful, thanks for offering us such a capable app for free.

not bad

not bad

essential app for day to day

This is an excellent tool for ‘grabbing’ anything of interest that you may see through your day. Via copy and paste, straight from web browser, email, however you want to capture an article, image, video, URL… it’s incredibly easy. If you follow a GTD process, this can be your primary inbox for sorting later. I use Evernote for sit down organization, but pocket for my instant grab. Works well on all platforms, easily the best.

Ugly

By far the worst designed app around. The whole purpose of it is for reading, so it makes it very hard for me to understand how they can so completely neglect the reading experience. I mean that is the most important thing. Give some options so people can fix the horrible design. The iOS app isn’t as terrible, but they still provide no adjustment options.

Could use more organizational features

This app would be awesome if you could organize articles into folders or at least categories. The tagging is too unorganized and one long list of articles is unpractical and at that point you might as well just use the reading list on your browser. Icebergs was a great service (think cross between Pocket and Pinterest) and was bought out by Pinterest in July 2014 and shut down. It had many of the same features of Pocket but more organizational features and was a little more multifunctional. Pocket is still a great app but could benefit from greater ability to customize it to your own needs.

My Favorite Tool; My Least Favorite App

Ive been a paid subscriber to Pocket Premium since the first day it was offered. And I recommend it to everyone, adding that they need to go with the paid version - its an amazing deal. BUT... This is the single worst application on my computer. I havent deleted it in hopes that it will soon match the online version, but I never use it. I cant. I have 400+ articles saved in my Pocket and its impossible to navigate through them with the desktop application. As a digital marketer who leads UX/UI testing for a large agency, Im imploring you to fix this. Throw the desktop application for mac out the window and start over. Half of the entire agency (500+) would probably have started using Pocket if it had a usable desktop version. Please. Im not going to end my subscription, I just want to use the desktop app while in the office since Im already running 30+ extensions and have 20+ browser windows open.

Awesome app!!!

I use this app with my iPhone, Mac mini (Firefox) and in my office (Windows environment). Is multiplatform. Beautiful WORK!!! Thanks guys :D

Reading position, dark mode

Great app, but there’re some small annoyances. It doesn’t remember reading position after I’ve open a link. Dark mode is not applied to sidebar, which is annoying.

Handoff doesn’t work properly …. please fix

This bug has been around a long time and hasn’t been fixed. When you use Pocket on your iPhone and the app is completely closed on your Mac, it will open up the Mac app but does not take you to the article immediately. Instead, you need to press the handoff notification a second time. This is annoying and defeats the purpose of handoff. I might as well just use Safari.

Great apps

I have been using pocket since its launching. There were some bugs at the beginning but they seems to fix all. Kudos to the developers.

Nothing wrong

Hence I’m still going to give it 5 stars

[good review]

what everyone else says. Wow, only 8 irrational complainers for this great app. I think thats the smallest number of irrational complainers I’ve seen which means this really is a great app and also (LOL) that the miserable 1-star folk are extra full of it. Its not the app its you and your computers

How I consume content! But needs annotation!

If I want ot read something longer than a few paragraphs, it goes into Pocket. If I want to keep something for reference, it goes into Pocket. Pocket is the best way to read articles and watch video, stripping away everything but what you want to actually see. The one shortcoming is annotation. I REALLY want to be able to highlight and make notes while reading, something difficult to do in pocket, unless you rely on the iOS built in not app, which is not optimal. Add that, and this app is a 5 star essential.
